A step forward
The Kini MotorPark speedway track has achieved official approval from the Catalan Motorcycle Federation. The improvements made to the circuit allow it, among other things, to host official races of the Catalan Federation, and also to provide coverage for licensed riders during practice sessions. The improvements to the pit road affect the entire facility, including a new surface that the Catalan Classic Endurance Cup riders rated highly, as well as safety aspects that were essential for achieving approval. These improvements include new, wider run-off areas and water drainage pipes.
Classics
This homologation was introduced at the last edition of the 4 Hours of Classic Endurance, which was extremely eventful due to torrential rains. The Moto Guzzi Motorbox 1 Team took the victory. At the same event, a tribute event was held for the AJR brand, which produced, among other things, exquisite replicas of the famous Bultaco TSS bikes, valued worldwide. Five models were in attendance and performed a lap of honor. Long-time rider Santiago Joaniquet, faithful to the AJR spirit, was honored, and the event was also attended by riders such as "Min" Grau and people associated with the legendary AJR. In short, Kini MotorPark is consolidating its position as an increasingly safe track with improved facilities, and its activity is becoming increasingly intense.
